De com els químics varen començar a parlar d'àtoms: el corpuscularisme de la química del segle XVIII coma preludi de l'atomisme químic de Dalton Authors Pere Grapí i Vilumara Abstract The ubiquity of atomic theory in chemistry teaching in certain elementary levels is a debatable issue for an adequate understanding of chemical phenomena. Knowing how 18th century chemists endorsed a corpuscular imagery for the materials with which they worked, how such imagery enabled a limited interpretation of chemical change, how those same chemists were able to overcome these limitations with an alternative discourse and, finally, knowing how Dalton conceived, in the early 19th century, his chemical atomic theory may bring additional elements for discussion about the didactical positioning of the atomic theory in the teaching of chemistry.
