In this paper we are speaking about an «atom» which would be adequate to the basic teaching of chemistry. Often, atoms are represented by colored balls, as objects. But atoms are not visible even to the most powerful optical microscopes; they are entities built by science that become «real» and useful for explaining chemical changes. We also want the students to build this «atom» while they are learning about chemical changes and they learn how to intervene with them.
