Abstract

This paper presents three didactical (i. e. instructional) units to teach the nature of science to science teachers. The units use materials of the history of science centered on Maria Skłodowska-Curies figure and work, and organized as cases to contextualize meta-scientific reflection (on the nature of science). Such reflection is performed through key epistemological ideas linked to three topics: scientific method, realism, and contexts and values in science.
