For the correct development of chemistry programmes in secondary school, a series of practical activities in which are the reactions to obtain gases and the study its properties is required. The need to combine practices with reduced waste and maximum security has created a micro-scale chemistry. This article explains how to make many practical activities where gases are handled safely using very simple material and readily available, such as syringes and 3-ways stop cocks.
