Abstract Cosmetics encompass a large quantity of products which are present in our daily lives and which are necessary to maintain a good skin. It is, as well as many other disciplines, part of chemistry. The skin is a highly complex and complete organ and has an important role in the protection. Cosmetics come in many different forms, such as a cream or a lipstick, and compounds as simple as salt or as complex as collagen. Each cosmetic includes a number of ingredients in a particular balance that guarantees its stability and skin activity.
