Abstract Paints are products which are very visible in our everyday environment. In addition to providing aesthetic aspects, they also have a protective function which allows the durability of many different products to increase. The various ingredients of a coating in the proper quantity provide the desired benefits. These are defined by the end application of the coated object. In this paper, we give an overview of different paints and varnishes, including basic information on composition, the manufacturing process, methods of application, curing and the final properties of the coatings.keywords: Paint, varnish, coating, resin, pigment.
