Abstract

We will take a look at the need for large-scale food productions in the last decades and implications when these chemical products are spread in nature. We will introduce data about these agents, we will show some of their properties, advantages and disadvantages, and we will take a look at their regulation in Europe. The need to use chemicals as plant protection products makes us think on all their implications in research, production, sales and use at the economic and security levels for people and environment.
