Un nuevo subgénero y especie de indanobium Español, 1970 (Coleoptera: Ptinidae: Ptilininae) de Tailandia

Abstract

A new species of the genus Indanobium Español, 1970 is described with specimens from Nan Nao National Park, Thailand. The male of the species has an antennal pattern with no resemblance within the specific content of the genus, so a subgeneric division has been created to separate it. The characters of the new subgenus and the description of the species are given. Figures of Indanobium (Gyneptilinomorphus) staneki subgen. n., sp. n. habitus, ventral details, antennae, palps and aedeagus are given, complemented by with a map pointing out the typical locality.
