Confirmation of the presence of Sciocoris (Neosciocoris) sideritidis Wollaston, 1858 (Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) in the Iberian Peninsula and first records for the province of Barcelona

Abstract

Sciocoris (Neosciocoris) sideritidis is known from Western Mediterranen region and the Macaronesia. The species is recorded in the Iberian Peninsula through pictures in the photosharing website «Biodiversidad Virtual», and in a key to the species of Pentatomoidea of France. With this note, we confirm the record in the Iberian Peninsula and we widen its distribution range southwards.
