Descripció de dues subspècies noves de "Podarcis pityusensis"

Abstract

Two new subespecies: Podarcis pityusensis canaretensis and Podarcis pityusensis martinezi, are described, according with an analysis of 15 variables. They complete the polytipic species Podarcis (= Lacerta ) pityusensis. Their geografic distribution is limited to two smalls islets: Illot des Canaret and Illot de Sa Sal Rosa, near the Ibiza island, in the Balearic Islands.
