Abstract

The moss inhabiting nematofauna of Cabrera (Balearic Is.) makes evident that its coast zone presents a typical little island feature, but the inner lands have conserved a very mediterranean continental character, which explains its origin from Majorca. Monhystera vulgaris, Tylenchus (F.) filiformis, Eudorylaimus carteri and Tripyla papillata are the dominant species.
