Abstract

Evaluation of protected, rare or threatened plants in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park (Eastern Pyrenees) We summarise the results of a study of the rare plants in the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park (Eastern Pyrenees, Catalonia) made from 1995 onwards. For this protected area we present a list of the flora of special interest. This list has 63 taxa arranged in 4 groups of differing interest for conservation. We provide data on those taxa for which a census and an evaluation of the conservation status have been made: two restricted endemics (Asplenium seelosii subsp. catalaunicum and Delphinium montanum) and ten widespread species that have isolated populations of great conservation importance in the Iberian, Pyrenean or Catalan context (Antirrhinum sempervirens, Artemisia chamaemelifolia, Asplenium celtibericum, Daphne alpina, Dracocephalum austriacum, Gymnadenia odoratissima, Lappula deflexa, Leuzea centauroides, Minuartia villarii and Orchis spitzelii).
