Nota preliminar sobre la malacofauna (Gastropoda) del Miocè del Pi Gros (Vilanova i la Geltrú, el Garraf)

Abstract

A list of the 57 taxa of Gastropoda collected from the marine Middle Miocene deposits of Pi Gros (Vilanova i la Geltrú, Barcelona) is presented. Odostomia acuta Jeffreys, 1848 is recorded for the first time from the Iberian Peninsula. The fossils are preserved as moulds, making their study and classification difficult, so that 16 taxa are determined only to a supraspecific level.
