Abstract

This paper rewiews of the Olea atmospheric pollen data from Catalonia, for the period 1983¿ 98, with regard to their allergological and agricultural applications. The discussion is focused on the validity of certain parameters for the characterisation of Olea aerobiological dynamics, on the prediction of the pollen calendar from meteorological data and on the relationship between olive production and pollen concentration.
