Abstract

We have determined 9 species and 9 morphotypes included in two different families of Chalcidoidea (Eulophidae and Pteromalidae) attacking larvae of Leucoptera malifoliella and Phyllonorycter corylifoliella emerging from leaf mines on apple tree fields in Lleida. The Eulophidae are identified as Baryscapus (1 species), Chysocharis (1 species), Pediobius (1 species), Pnigalio (1 species and 4 morphotypes), and Sympiesis (4 species and 2 morphotypes). The Pteromalidae are less abundant and were identified as Dibrachys sp, Pteromalus sp, and a specimen whose generic identity is unknown. Pediobius pyrgo is reported for Catalonia for the first time. Finally, Pediobius pyrgo and the genera Dybrachis and Pteromalus are reported for the first time associated with Phyllonorycter corylifoliella.
