Abstract With the present study, the revision of the species present in the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands of the subfamily Ernobiinae Pic, 1912, started with the genus Episernus C. G. Thomson, 1863, continues. The study of the genus Ernobius C. G. Thomson, 1859 is carried out with fourteen species present in the Iberian area, of which the studied and consulted material is related, a redescription of them is given, their distribution and biology are commented, and complemented with the habitus of all the species, drawings of the antennae of the males, of the maxillary and labial palps, and of the aedeagus with detail of their parts.
