Conservación de la Biodiversidad: un reto del fin de siglo Authors Gonzalo Halffter Abstract What are the strategies used estimate to biological diversity? What is the relationship between biodiversity and the functional structure of ecosystems? The relationship between protected areas and the conservation of diversity is analyzed under the demographic, social and economic conditions of the end of the twentieth century, with a special emphasis on the situation in tropical countries.
