Abstract

In this catalogue 8822 specimens of 270 species are included, the main part coming from the Catalan coasts. Classification and synonymies follow the 1973 Clofnam and the 1979 supplement. With regard to the species of greatest interest, the following deserve special mention: Parabathophilus gloriae, Paraliparis murieli, Solea hexophthalma, Lionurus carapinus, Borostomias antarcticus, Laemonema latifrons, Synaptura lusitanica, Scorpaena stephanica, Cataetyx alleni and Symphurus ligulatus.
