Cicle vital d' "Hydropsyche siltalai" "(Trichoptera: Hydropsychidae)" a la riera de l'Avencó (Vallès Oriental)

Abstract

Hydropsyche siltalai is a European Trichoptera common in streams of Catalonia. We have determined its life cycle and the evolution of the colony in the River Avenco (Bests river basin, Valles Oriental) from January 1983 to April 1984. Our findings suggest two annual spawnings and we describe the demographic evolution in relation to average individual weight and biomass during a single generation.
