El Ptilininae de la península Ibèrica i illes Balears (Coleoptera: Ptinidae)

Abstract

The review of the species of Ptilininae subfamily present in the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands is carried out. The subfamily is represented, in the studied area, only by two species of the genus Ptilinus Geoffroy, 1762. Male and female habitus, the morphological characters of the two species, list of the specimens studied or reviewed, their area of distribution, bibliographic references of known appointments are given, and their biology is commented.
