Revisión del género Trichodesma LeConte, 1861 en el continente africano, con la descripción de nuevas especies (Coleoptera: Ptinidae: Anobiinae)

Abstract

Of the genus Trichodesma LeConte, 1861, only four species were known on the African continent. The collections carried out in Sierra Leone and Zambia have allowed to expand the distribution area of two of them and the description of three new species, Trichodesma lisae n. sp. from Zambia, T. munyozi n. sp. from Sierra Leone and T. soleri n. sp. from Zambia. The species present in Africa are reviewed, a specific separation key is given and of all species are represented antennae, aedeagus, in ventral and lateral view, and habitus of the of all species are represented. Also, its geographical distribution is discussed and given.
