Abstract

Tricyphona (Tricyphona) contraria Bergroth, 1888 is registered for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula, as a result of a biospeleological survey conducted in a cave of the emblematic Montserrat massif located a few kilometers from Barcelona city. Also, we offer a new distribution data for Rhypholophus haemorrhoidalis (Zetterstedt, 1838), Elliptera hungarica Madarassy, 1881, Dicranota (Paradicranota) subtilis Loew, 1871, Tipula (Lunatipula) albostriata Strobl, 1909 and y T. (Mediotipula) cataloniensis Theowald, 1978. This is as a result of a partial revision of the Tipuloidea collection housed in the Museum of Natural Sciences of Barcelona, especially of those specimens collected in cave environments, which represents the confirmation of these species in Spain.
