Una nova espècie del gènere Microtyphlus Linder, 1863 procedent del País Valencià, Espanya (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Bembidiini: Anillina)

Abstract

A new species of subterranean Anillina, belonging to the genus Microtyphlus Linder, 1863 (Coleoptera, Carabidae) is described. Microtyplus mesegueri n. sp. has been collected in Les Meravelles cave of Castelló de la Plana and despite the various visits to this cave, it has not been possible to capture any male specimen, which is why we describe the four female specimens. Since they also provide very good morphological characters to separate the new species from the other species of Microtyphlus.
