Abstract

A new species of oak gall wasp, Andricus rochai Pujade-Villar n. sp., is described from Mexico. Only agamic females are known and they induce galls on Quercus laeta. Data on the diagnosis, distribution and biology of the new species are given. A complete list of Mexican species of Andricus is added.
