The study of a large number of specimens collected on different projects or isolated captures have been given a number of interesting species for the fauna of the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands. Five species are first record for Iberian Peninsula, the Carabidae Dyschirius (Dyschiriodes) chalceus Erichson, 1837, the Ciidae Rhopalodontus baudueri Abeille de Perrin, 1874, the Mordeliidae Mediimorda angeliquae Leblanc, 2002, all of them with european distribution and the Chrysomelidae Epitrix hirtipennis (Melsheimer, 1847) i Luperomorpha xanthodera (Fairmaire, 1888), introduced species very harmful to crops and ornamental plants. Others are first records for Catalonia and the Iberian or Canarian distribution of some others are expanded; the presence of Bostrichidae Lyctus (Xilotrogus) africanus Lesne, 1907 in peninsular area is also confirmed. Tha habitus of the majority of species is represented and also aedeagus and spermatheca if is necessary for identification. Distribution and biology of each species is also discussed.
