Nova especie del género Neopachotelus Viñolas & Honour, 2017 de Colombia (Coleoptera: Ptinidae: Ernobiinae)

Abstract

A new species of Ernobiinae from Colombia, belonging to the so far monospecific genus Neopachotelus Viñolas & Honour, 2017, is described. The specimens studied, like the type species, have been obtained from galls in Quercus L. The description is accompanied by the habitus of the male and the female of the two known species of the genus, including also the representation of the antennae of the two sexes, maxillary and labial palp, pro-, meso- and metasternum, as well as the aedeagus of both species. A specific classification key, both for males and females, is attached.
