El Vapor Burés d'Anglès, un patrimoni industrial rellevant de Catalunya

Abstract

The industrialization of Catalunya was also important at Anglès, a village located near the town of Girona. There, you can find the Burés steam machine with 200 HP manufactured by La Maquinista Terrestre y Marítima by beginning 20th century. The results of the preliminary research indicates that, within its category in Catalunya and Spain, it is the best preserved, complete and at its original location. The same research at European level has not been completed; however there are signs that has a very preeminent place at continental Europe.
