Abstract

In 2015 the European Commission proposed a series of initiatives aimed to achieve a European digital single market by the end of 2016. In this paper we analyze the European Commissions proposals, emphasizing their generic nature and the need for their implementation during 2016, and we identify the main obstacles to the completion of the project within the deadlines set by the Commission.
