Abstract The article studies the main aspects of the procedure for the immediate recovery of the housing possession, introduced by the Law 5/2018 of January 11, amendment of the Law 1/2000, of 7 January, of Civil Enforcement, in relation to the illegal occupation of dwellings. It provides a whole perspective of the of the procedural process that allows us to appreciate the content of the protection that is dispensed with and deepens in the criterion of adequacy of the procedure and in the process specialties that the legal reform incorporates. It provides ideas and takes sides on conceptual aspects of the procedure.
