Abstract

Science and Propaganda in Germany.
Purges against Jewish scientists and the search for “Aryan” Physics, international isolation of researchers as a consequence of the war, theories that were taught without their creators’ names
being mentioned or Nobel prizes awarded partially for political motives, are some of the elements of a complex relationship between scientists and the political regimes in Germany in the fi rst half of the 20th century, including Nazism.
