El descobriment de l'últim endemisme: la tramussera valenciana Autors/ores Simón Fos Albert Navarro Inma Ferrando Emili Laguna Resum Discovering the latest endemism. The Valencian lupin. The Valencian lupin (Lupinus mariae-josephi) is the last plant endemism to have been described in the Comunitat Valenciana. However, this species was already well known in past times, as witnessed by the names of some places where the plant is found. The harvesting and later conservation of the seeds at the end of the seventies in the area of d’Els Castellars de Montserrat, in the mountains near large urban areas, represents the beginning of a unique history full of coincidences and love of nature that have led to the description and conservation of this plant.
