Tomàs V. Tosca Autors/ores Vicenç M. Rossellò Resum The urban realism of the enlightened Tomàs V. Tosca. Tomàs V. Tosca, clergyman belonging to the nouatores movement, with solid physicmathematical knowledge, finished an iconographic map of Valencia in 1704, on a large scale. This manuscript has been kept in the Town Hall. He uses a representation in false isometric perspective that concedes great realism and, in the case of the public buildings portrayed, an extreme meticulousness. Apparently, it does not have any connection with the map printed beforehand by A. Manceli (1608), of which only one copy is known to exist.
