Abstract

To end with the conflicts about the possession of Calaf castle, Bishop Oliba obtained in 1038 the feudal acknowledgement of the viscounts of Cardona, thus stablishing a refection on Easer Day at Vic Cathedral. This practice was maintained until 1252, when it was replaced by the payment of a census on the salt from Cardona.
