Abstract

The conservation of the medieval musical heritage calls for the consultation, analysis and identification of its materials in order to allow subsequent research on the music and liturgy it preserves. Accordingly, we continue this series of investigations on pertinent manuscripts with the presentation of material kept at the Arxiu Nacional d’Andorra (National Archive of Andorra), the new material discovered in the Arxiu de la Corona d’Aragó (Archive of the Crown of Aragon), the Arxiu Històric de Girona (Historic Archive of Girona), the Museu Diocesà de Lleida (Diocesan Museum of Lleida), the Arxiu Comarcal del Bages (Regional Archive of El Bages), the Arxiu Municipal de Reus (Municipal Archive of Reus), the Biblioteca Pública de Soria (Public Library of Soria), the Arxiu Diocesà de Solsona (Diocesan Archive of Solsona), and the Arxiu Històric Arxidiocesà de Tarragona (Historic Archdiocesan Archive of Tarragona). We also report on some changes of location and signature of some specific holdings containing music: the Arxiu Històric de la Ciutat de Barcelona (Historic Archive of the City of Barcelona), the Arxiu Capitular de Girona (Capitular Archive of Girona) and the Arxiu Diocesà de Girona (Diocesan Archive of Girona). Likewise, we provide information on a manuscript in the private collection of Josep Maria Vila Medinyà in Girona and of a manuscript from the Bibliothèque Nationale de France which has been located and published a few years ago. We also point out the non-Catalan origin of a manuscript in the Bibliothèque Royale de Belgique (Royal Library of Belgium).
