Avaluació de la capacitat nitrificant de sòls agrícoles semiàrids

Resumen

La capacidad nitrificante de seis suelos agrícolas clasificados como Xeric Torriorthent y situados en la depresión media del Ebro ha sido estudiada en un experimento de incubación. Se ha utilizado un modelo sigmoidal para expresar la acumulación de N-NO3 . Se ha determinado el periodo de latencia y la tasa máxima de nitrificación para evaluar dicha capacidad itrificante.The maximum rate of nitrification ranged from 1.47 to 40.34 mg N-NO3 g1 soil day1. The delay period ranged from 7.7 to 20.4 days for the experimental soils. Both parameters were negatively and significantly correlated. The lowest nitrification activity was observed in saline and highly gypsiferous soils, with poor soil organic matter content. The maximum nitrification rate was significantly and positively correlated with total organic carbon and negatively correlated with salinity and sodicity in these semiarid soils. The delay period was significantly and positively correlated with gypsum content and negatively correlated with soil calcium carbonate content.
