Se l'escarabat de la papata a la tuta absoluta Authors Josep Maria Vives Abstract En aquesta comunicació s'explicaran els canvis i innovacions importants que han tingut lloc en les tècniques de lluita contra les plagues durant el període 1960-2010. En primer lloc s'indicaran els organismes públics responsables de gestionar la sanitat vegetal a Catalunya, fins al 1980 dependents de l'Administració general de l'Estat, i a partir d'aquest any, de la Generalitat de Catalunya, i també s'indicaran els centres d'investigació, organismes i tècnics que han contribuït a la millora de les tècniques de lluita. S'analitzarà seguidament l'impacte de les nombroses disposicions europees, estatals i autonòmiques que en regulen el registre i utilització dels productes fitosanitaris, que han comportat un ús cada cop més segur d'aquests productes i la progressiva implantació de les noves tècniques de lluita alternatives a la lluita química. En molts casos, Catalunya ha estat pionera a l'Estat espanyol en l'ús d'aquests nous sistemes de lluita i en la creació de diverses accions innovadores encaminades a racionalitzar l'ús dels productes fitosanitaris.
