Journal of Catalan Intellectual History

The JOCIH is a biannual journal and is edited by several universities of the Catalan speaking area (Autonomous University of Barcelona, University of Barcelona, University of Valencia, University of the Balearic Islands) and three Academic Societies (Societat Catalana de Filosofia, Societat de Filosofia del País Valencià, Associació Filosòfica de les Illes Balears), with the support of three Institutes (Institut d’Estudis Catalans, Institut de Dret i Tecnologia UAB, Institut Ramon Llull). The current Issue (Volume 1, Issue 1 & 2, 2011) is the first publication of the journal.

Call for Papers

 

The JOCIH is launching this Call to collect papers on Catalan Intellectual History for 2013 (vol. III, Issues 1 and 2).

All papers will be published in two languages, English and Catalan, and subjected to a blind peer-review process.

The JOCIH accepts articles focused on culture, science and intellectual history from the Renaissance to Contemporary Catalan Philosophy. Submitted papers may be written either in Catalan or English. Translation, either from Catalan to English or from English to Catalan, will be provided by the Journal.
