Hunter Plants: Darwin and Carnivorous Plants.

Carnivorous Plants is a magnifi cent monographic work about the strange insectivorous plants that were discovered by a meticulous naturalist and biologist, an expert on the scientifi c bibliography of his epoch: Charles Darwin. With the oncoming celebration of the 200th anniversary of his birth, it becomes apparent that apart from certain books, like The Origin of Species, on the whole, the work of this naturalist is not well known. This article looks at the research he carried out on insectivorous plants.
